JOB SUMMARY The Welding Technician is responsible for fabricating, joining, and repairing metal components, equipment, and structures using various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This role performs welds in all positions in accordance with specifications and company or customer requirements. The technician applies specialized skills, tools, and techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship while supporting facility operations through minor maintenance activities and assisting other trade technicians. The position also involves responding to facility, equipment, and system issues, documenting work accurately in the CMMS, and proactively identifying potential failures. The Welding Technician maintains a strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, and hazardous waste management, while completing additional duties and projects as assigned.
