About The Position

The Welding Technician III is a senior-level position responsible for leading complex welding projects, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring the highest quality standards. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of welding experience.
• Mastery of MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret highly complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment.
• Lead the preparation and set-up of welding projects, ensuring optimal workflow.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and non-destructive testing to verify weld quality.
• Perform maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of welding equipment.
• Read and interpret intricate blueprints and technical specifications.
• Mentor and train Welding Technician I and II personnel, sharing best practices and expertise.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
