Welding Instructor - Part Time

Fortis College in Smyrna is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Welder to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Welding Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Welding courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of a formal welding training program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma
- Certified Welder required
- At least three years of experience as a Certified Welder
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- Certified Welding Educator is not required, but highly desired
- Prior teaching experience preferred
