About The Position
The Welder is responsible for performing MIG and/or TIG welding on components according to specifications and blueprints. This role ensures high-quality welds while maintaining safety, productivity, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Knowledge of welding practices and basic quality standards
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for the full shift
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime as needed
Nice To Haves
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding per specifications and blueprints
- Review work instructions and report part or equipment issues to supervisor
- Support safety, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives
- Complete assigned work within required timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow supervisor instructions
