About The Position

The Production Welder is capable of performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. A welder is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• At least 3-6 months welding experience

Nice To Haves

• Certified forklift operator
• Aluminum Welding experience
• Experience working in Automotive Manufacturing
• Welding certificate

Responsibilities

• Performs work orders as assigned by department supervisor
• TIG welding Stainless Steel and Aluminum
• Cuts, clips, hooks or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods on the designated pallet
• Put received inventory into correct locations
• Internal inventory cycle counts
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
