StandardAero has an opportunity for a Welder with experience in metal
fabrication equipment such as Gas Tungsten Arc (GTAW) and resistance welding.

Requirements

• Have 2 + years TIG welding experience
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day

Nice To Haves

• Previous welding experience in aerospace or aviation environment strongly preferred.
• Experience with welding thin gauge material and exotic metals (Inconel and Hastelloy)
• Thorough understanding of tool design and fabrication methods and processes
• Trade certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes
• Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements
• Observe all applicable safety requirements
