About The Position

Under supervision, operates welding equipment and assist with general maintenance needs. Welds/repairs trailers, roll-off containers and lugger containers. Repairs shredder, conveyors and other machinery as needed. May include fabrication duties. Assists the maintenance department with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. Operates hydraulic cranes and other equipment as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and technical degree are preferred but not required.
• Prior stick and wire welding experience required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30-50 lbs and 100+lbs on 2-person lift.

Nice To Haves

• Welding certification is a plus.
