About The Position

We are looking for a skilled welder with 3–5 years of experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, shop drawings, and safety practices. This role involves performing high-quality welds on various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on welding experience in a fabrication environment
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding (Stick welding is a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
  • Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat
  • Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • High school diploma or GED required, trade school or vocational training a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and metal particles

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required
  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery
  • Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
