Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must supply own basic hand tools
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
Able to MIG and TIG weld up to ¼” steel and aluminum.
Ability to Read and Interpret Quality Documents and Drawings
Able to perform basic mathematical computations
Must regularly be able to lift and move from 50 to 100 lbs
Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing

Responsibilities

Responsible for welding various metals: stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel.
Welds and Fabricates custom parts using a variety of machines including but not limited to, Millermatic 250 Mig Welder, Syncrowave 350 LX Tig Welder
As workload requires, this position may involve other fabrication work in area’s such but not limited to Fastener Insertion Press, Shear, Spot Weld Machine, Auto-weld machine, Milling machine, Deburring, and Sanding Equipment
Executes to work orders and engineering drawings
Receives verbal orders to fabricate custom designed parts and products
Receives written and verbal instruction on priority of orders
Receives, checks and handles raw material from inventory as needed
Sets up for daily work according to production schedule and/or verbal instructions
Checks parts, products and machinery for defects
Works at different workstations as job requires
Maintains a clean safe work area
Moves finished goods to other inventory or work areas
Assists with special projects as assigned by supervisor
