JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Title Welder Reports To Production Manager Essential Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Fitting, fabricating, and welding parts for assembly. Use of diagrams, blueprints, or instructions to fit, tack and weld product. Operation of Press Brake, Punch Break and other fabricating equipment. Identify serviceable vs. non-serviceable parts during the assembly process. Follow procedural guidelines during the fitting/welding process. Proper use of power and manual tools. Proper use of calibrated gauges, power and manual torquing devices.

Requirements

  • Technical Capacity
  • Proven skills in Tig Welding, including stainless steel.
  • Proven skills in welding with GMAW, FCAW and/or GTAW processes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.
  • Communication Proficiency

  • Time Management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to Two years of related experience.
