We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Manufacturing Welder to join our production team. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational welding skills who want to build a career in precision sheet metal fabrication. You will perform welding operations on components for industry-leading customers while learning from experienced team members in a supportive environment that values craftsmanship, accuracy, and professional growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of a welding certificate program, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Basic knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding processes
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing precision work
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior welders
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• AWS welding certification or willingness to obtain
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes such as forming, punching, and laser cutting
• Experience reading blueprints and welding symbols
• Prior experience in a precision manufacturing environment
• Interest in working on components for aerospace, medical, or defense applications

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on precision sheet metal components including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders to meet exact customer specifications.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate wire, gas, and settings based on material type and thickness.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, appearance, and conformance to precision tolerances.
• Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet customer standards across medical, aerospace, defense, and commercial applications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety protocols and quality management standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to support on-time delivery of parts and assemblies.
• Communicate with supervisors and quality assurance leads regarding job progress and any issues encountered.
