Welder Responsibilities: Majority of time will be MIG welding, TIG welding ability is a plus Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining aluminum/steel metals to specifications. Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage. Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately. Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools. Determining correct gas ratios. Testing the strength of each weld during and after project completion. Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required. Liaising with the supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement. Welder Requirements: High School diploma or similar Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a welding position. Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Sound understanding of welding safety. Willingness to be welding certified through the company. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
