About The Position

The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to technical specifications and quality standards. Using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding. This position ensures strong, precise, and high-quality welds that meet production requirements. The ideal candidate is skilled in reading blueprints, problem-solving, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety regulations and procedures

Nice To Haves

AWS welding certification or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding
Operate welding machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise and high-quality welds
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper function and cleanliness
Follow all company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Assist in other metal fabrication tasks as needed
Other duties as assigned
