About The Position

Carry-On Trailer is in need of welders on our Utility Line and our Cargo Line. The successful candidate will weld metal pieces together to build quality trailers.

Requirements

• The successful candidate will be able to proficiently perform each of the duties listed above.
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints.
• The ability to understand instructions in English or Spanish is helpful.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read a blueprint and build trailers according to the blueprint
• Proficiently use all tools related to the welding process including – but not limited to - a jig, a square and a tape measure
• Position and clamp materials together prior to welding
• Maintain a safe and orderly weld bay
• Build a minimum number of trailers per day according to the company standard
• Perform other duties as assigned
