About The Position

Accurately welds quality products according to engineer’s print’s directions and shop order’s requests. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as always being aware to preserving the product’s integrity and quality. Requirements

• Must have some experience in welding and be able to make a quality weld
• Must be safety minded
• Requires attention to detail and a high standard of quality
• Must comply to ISO 9000 required policies
• Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment
• Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Able to set a welder according to job requirements
• Able to read weld symbols
• To follow safety procedures
• To keep an accurate count on product
• Able to read prints and weld according to print directions
• Able to weld in multiple positions
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Able to use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it
• To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis
