About The Position

LaForce is looking for a skilled Welder to join our Metal Frame Production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fabricating and assembling hollow metal door frames using MIG welding and a variety of hand and power tools. If you're reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you! Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 3:00pm; Friday, 6:30am - 12:30pm Pay: $19/hr. and up based on experience. What You'll Do: Weld, fit, and assemble light-gauge sheet metal frames based on shop drawings and work orders. Grind and prep welds to meet quality and finish standards. Use MIG welding equipment, plasma cutters, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools. Move materials using forklifts and carts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. What You Bring: Experience in MIG welding (GMAW) and metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production instructions. Comfortable with hand tools and material handling. Willingness to obtain forklift certification (we’ll train). Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day. Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working with tools and equipment on your feet all day. Why LaForce?
