Opportunity Overview: Welder for nuclear outage You will work on site at South Texas Project Nuclear facility in Wadsworth, Texas. You will report to the Welding Manager. Day-to-Day: Fabrication and installation of pipe, duct, structural steel, pipe and duct supports. Perform high-precision welding on critical systems, such as pipes, boilers, and pressure vessels, ensuring structural integrity and safety. You will work with TIG/MIG/arc methods, interpret complex blueprints, and strictly follow nuclear safety regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Welding experience in TIG, MIG and Arc.
- Nuclear experience 6 months
- Nuclear background, medical & Fitness for Duty which included pre-employment drug screen
- Pass onsite: 6G weld test, 2" carbon, covers Horizontal, Vertical, and Overhead.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication and installation of pipe, duct, structural steel, pipe and duct supports.
