Responsible for performing welding operations in accordance with manufacturing specifications. Welder Duties: Perform welding activities, following written instructions independently. Interpret drawings and applicable technical data to use in repairs. Prepare parts for welding by grinding, machining, and belt sanding. Documenting travelers after operations performed. Maintain production standards/quality. Regular attendance and punctuality. Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements. Use calibrated instruments and tooling to perform critical measurements. Operate tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas and other types of welding machines as required. Operate oxy-acetylene torch to cut, braze, weld, and solder. Operate spot welder. Maintain certification required to weld applicable alloy. Comply with all applicable regulatory, customer, and safety requirements. Must be able to pass an Eye Examination specifically for welders.
