Welder (Night Shift)
About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs to support continuous plant operations Inspect and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify maintenance needs Safely operate welding tools, cutting torches, and mechanical repair equipment during night-shift hours Complete preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime Collaborate with team members and follow all safety and operational procedures
Requirements
- Ability to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding with accuracy and in compliance with safety standards
- Capability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and conveyor systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on night shift
- Comfort reading and interpreting technical drawings, weld symbols, and equipment manuals
- Commitment to safety and consistent, reliable performance in an industrial environment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Responsibilities
