We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and equipment using welding techniques and tools. This position requires a high level of precision, safety awareness, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The ideal candidate has experience in various welding methods and industrial maintenance skills and thrives in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Work schedule is Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts 7pm - 7am.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or flux-core welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of metal properties and appropriate welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and precision.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools related to welding and metal fabrication.
  • Good physical condition and stamina; ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in awkward positions.
  • Strong safety orientation and commitment to maintaining a hazard-free environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting (highly preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a welding certification program or technical training (preferred).
  • Certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), or flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
  • Inspect and ensure welds meet structural specifications and quality standards.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts by cutting, shaping, and welding components.
  • Repair broken or cracked parts and rework defective welds as necessary.
  • Grind, cut, or clean welds and surfaces using power tools.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and orderly condition.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
