About The Position

KPS Global, LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder for our First Shift operations at our Michigan facility - SRC Refrigeration. The Welder position plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and durability. As a Welder - First Shift at KPS Global, LLC, you will be responsible for performing various welding operations using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques to join metal components according to specifications and blueprints. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with team members to meet production goals while maintaining our commitment to excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing materials for welding, setting up welding equipment, performing welding operations according to specifications, inspecting completed welds for quality and conformance to standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. You will also be expected to identify and report any defects or issues that may affect product quality or production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding principles, techniques, and safety protocols. You should be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, have good hand-eye coordination, and possess the physical stamina to work in a manufacturing environment. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time, regular position with no travel requirements. The position is based at our Michigan facility and operates during the first shift, typically from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines. Requirements

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
Experience with TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of welding symbols and terminology
Understanding of metallurgy and material properties
Proficiency in using measuring tools and gauges
Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely
Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination
Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Basic mathematical skills
Problem-solving abilities
Time management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
