We are searching for an experienced Welder at our Plant 61-Elkhart-IN facility.

Dexter, the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for a Production Welder at our manufacturing facility located in Elkhart, Indiana.

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for performing various welding activities using established production procedures.
Primary responsibilities of the position requires experienced Mig-Welder and/or Robotic Welder to perform welding processes in a fast paced work environment, while working safely and ensuring quality.
More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following:
Lifting spindles into welder as well as cambers from welder to engraver, conveyer, and racks.
Lifting tubes into punch press and then into welder.
Operating welders.
Performing machine changeovers.
Performing quality checks.

Requirements

• Candidates must be safety conscious, dependable, detail-orientated, and have the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Must possess a good work ethic have a good attendance history, be adaptable to a fast paced work environment, and have the flexibility to work overtime.
• Will be required to pass a weld test.
