About The Position

Welder Availability on 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift (8 hour days) $40 p/h Manufacturing / Recycling facility Chapel Glen, IN (West Indianapolis) Must be able to pass a Stick Welding Test (SMAW) Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability Key Responsibilities: Perform corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems using technical documentation, schematics, and drawings. Install new plant machinery and perform mechanical and fabrication work as needed. Repair and maintain pumps, piping systems, gearboxes, conveyors Perform steel fabrication, repairs, and modifications to support plant operations. Promote and enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards across all activities. Qualifications: 2–3 years of recent industrial maintenance, millwright, or machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Must pass an S.M.A.W. (stick welding) test; strong knowledge of metal properties and safe welding practices. Ability to use computer systems for maintenance documentation or work orders (CMMS experience a plus). You should be proficient in: Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Maintenance and Repair Skills

Requirements
