About The Position
We are currently hiring for experienced welders (MIG, stick, structural, TIG) in Richmond and Charlottesville, VA. Pay is $28 - $32 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a welder
- Your own reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to create strong and durable joints in metal piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Select appropriate materials and welding rods/consumables for specific applications based on project needs.
- Erect structural steel components
- Conduct visual inspections and perform pressure testing on welded joints to ensure safety and structural integrity.
- Operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner, adhering to all company safety protocols.
