About The Position

PurityOne is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Hose Assembly Technician to join our production team in Northampton, MA. This is an entry-level position responsible for assembling high-purity hose and fluid transfer assemblies used in critical applications for life sciences and other high-purity industries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Prior TIG welding experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow written instructions and assembly procedures
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Good communication skills and reliability
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and work at a bench or workstation for extended periods
  • Ability to use hand tools and small equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior TIG welding experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble hose and fluid transfer components according to work instructions and specifications
  • Cut, prepare, and fit hose assemblies and associated fittings
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel hose assemblies (training may be provided)
  • Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Safely operate assembly tools and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
