About The Position

Job Description Summary Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Assemble and TIG weld aerospace castings and details Use fixtures, tools, and gauges to produce aerospace parts meetings blueprint drawing tolerances Follow detailed work instructions Practice weld procedures per GE and Nadcap/AWS specifications Work in a team environment, participate in Action Workouts, and contribute to the LEAN Manufacturing workplace Practice safe work habits and maintain a hazard-free work environment. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Must have minimum of two years Gas Tungsten Arc (Heliarc) welding experience Pass Gas Tungsten Arc Weld test on nickel base, cobalt base and stainless steel alloys (groove and fillet welding per MIL-W-1595) Prefer 2 years of college or trade school background or professional industry equivalency Must be able to complete qualification training on nickel and cobalt per AWS D17.1 Good attendance, attitude and work habits will be required Employee must have no disqualifications on his/her record for the past six months 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm and 3pm - 11pm (5% shift premium) 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am and 11pm - 7am (5% shift premium) Weekend Crew F-Sun 6:30pm - 6:30am and Thurs, Fri, Sat 6:30pm - 6:30am (10% shift premium) NOTE: Employee will have a 90-day period to establish performance in new classification and acquire necessary tools. If such performance is not established and maintained, the individual will be returned to previous classification. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)). Requirements
