About The Position
The position involves production overlay welding and continual structural rebuilding of all tooling. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair welding on forge tooling, fixtures, and equipment, as well as the fabrication of devices. The role requires operating carbon air arc/plasma cutting devices for metal removal and managing heat treating and heat controlled furnace programs and settings. The individual will perform repair work on die blocks, rams, trimmer and punch dies, and punches by welding broken parts together and building up worn or defective surfaces using various types of welding equipment.
