About The Position

We have an opening for a Welder position who will need to be diversified and also take care of other pipeline responsibilities. This position will support all pipeline operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Self-motivated
Able to work unsupervised
Obtain and maintain ET welder qualifications
Level C requires a minimum of 0 – 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

Knowledgeable of industry related codes and standards
Proficient in all phases of pipeline welding including, but not limited to: Branch Connections, Sleeves, Hot Taps, Fabrication, In-Service, etc.
Selects materials, fittings and the type of welding rod to be used
Performs routine maintenance on welding equipment
Obtain and maintain ET welder qualifications
Participate in rotating on-call schedule
Basic map reading and Global Positioning System (GPS) skills
Ability to read and utilize drawings, schematics, alignment sheets and P&ID drawings
Manage all activities with a focus on safety and compliance
Perform operation and maintenance activities on natural gas pipelines
Obtain other OQ tasks as needed
