Welder/Production, 2nd Shift
About The Position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Read and interpret weld symbols on technical drawings and blueprints. Configure welding machines and equipment. Perform welding operations using MIG welding techniques to conform to specified dimensions. Ensure all welds are complete and meet required quality standards. Repair bad welds as necessary. Use and operate various cutting equipment (oxy/acetylene torch, Air Arc, or plasma cutter). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety protocols. Assist with the annual inventory audit process. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
Requirements
- No experience necessary. On the job training provided.
- Ability to pass an internal 1G welding test.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
