Welder Production - Basket Fabricator - 1st Shift
About The Position
Eaton’s IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Welder Production - Basket Fabricator - 1st Shift. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for: Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards Complying with all work and process instructions Identifying improvement opportunities Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures. Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- A minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment

- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Williamsport, MD (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
