About The Position

Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Requirements

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
• No Licensure or Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with Company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Monitors and operates process units utilizing a wide range of control systems and equipment that includes tanks, mixers, heat exchangers, pumps, furnaces and vacuum systems.
• Monitors process indicators, instruments, gauges, and meters to detect and report any possible problems.
• Makes needed adjustments to keep system processes, including flows, temperatures, and pressures, within acceptable ranges.
• Operates manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps and transfer systems that move product between tanks and process units.
