Fabrication facility, set on 25 acres in Central Florida. Randall Mechanical is currently seeking top-tier Welder / Pipefitters to work on a long-term, large project on the Space Coast of Florida (Palm Bay). We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • 5+ years of experience in welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe.
  • Welding certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in pipe welding.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
  • Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding.
  • Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually).
  • Excellent knowledge of fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Piping.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective English or bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Fit and weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes for plumbing/mechanical applications.
  • Examine work product for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
