As a Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of terminal equipment and structures. Your work will support the safe and efficient operation of our terminal activities, contributing directly to our organizational goals and safety standards.

Requirements

• 6 months minimum experience with Stick, MIG or Tack welding or similar
• Educational training may be substituted for work experience
• Understanding and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used for heavy industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card (for more information visit the TSA website on TWIC requirements)
• Valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and metal fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick) on containers, equipment, and terminal infrastructure.
• Carry out structural repairs in accordance with safety standards and operational needs.
• Inspect welds and completed work to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanics, electricians, and terminal operations teams to coordinate repair and maintenance efforts.
• Operate material-handling and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support preventice maintenance schedules and respond to emergency repair requests.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Always follow Logistec's safety procedures, environmental policies, and core values.
