About The Position

Overhauling and maintaining construction, mining, and aggregate equipment. Able to diagnose root cause of failure and repair back to oem standards. Ability to air-arch, weld, cut and grind. Able to perform field machining service (Line Boring) or willing to learn. Must have the ability to perform disassembly and assembly or machines to perform repairs. Must be able to operate a company owned service truck in unsupervised conditions. Willing to accommodate occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of welding experience, preferably in a heavy equipment or industrial setting.
Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and basic fabrication tools.
Ability to read blueprints and work independently or in a team.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Must have CDL license

Nice To Haves

Technical certification in welding preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose all machine systems and components.
Determine appropriate parts necessary.
Change or rebuild machine components, as necessary.
Use pressure-washing equipment to clean machinery.
Ensure that machines are in safe operating condition Perform advanced welding, cutting, and grinding.
Change oil and filters on machinery.
Change ground engaging gear and attachments on machinery.
Read and understand parts and service books.
Maintain service records for machines.
Maintain and submit accurate driver logs.
Cleans tools and working area.
Able to interact professionally and courteously with customers.
Performs other duties as required.
