Job Description: Position Overview: Plan and perform arc and acetylene welding, brazing, soldering, silver soldering, and cutting on a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Fabricate various parts or tools from blueprints or design and make from a verbal description or rough sketch. Maintain a stock of welding supplies and requisition when needed. Assist in the installation and repair of equipment and systems as required. Maintain a current state issued welding certificate. Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment. Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement.
