Summary Function: Supports the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of electric energy by performing certified welds and/or structural welds on equipment such as boilers, boiler tubes, piping systems, and other areas in and around power plant facilities. Performs mechanical maintenance and repair of power plant equipment including assembly, and disassembly of equipment, investigating and correcting mechanical malfunctions. Writes/reviews work scope and hazard/risk assessment of the work assignment. Performs other duties as assigned.
