The Welder II is responsible for independently performing advanced welding operations using qualified welding procedures to produce high-quality weldments that meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of welding theory, blueprint interpretation, weld symbols, heat control, distortion mitigation, and inspection criteria. The Welder II works with minimal supervision, supports continuous improvement initiatives, assists in troubleshooting welding-related issues, and may provide training and guidance to Welder I employees.
