About The Position

AIM or MISSION: The mission of the boat builder helper is improve the productivity of the boat builder by preparing all surfaces, parts and equipment for the boat builder. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS: Prepare surfaces for welding and fitment Cleaning and grinding the welded area to remove slag Filing hull for rail fitment Assist boat builder in positioning, aligning and fitting fabricated parts together Retrieve and stage parts for boat builders Install tape on all required areas to prevent foam breach Tack and weld parts Keeping area clean and organized

Requirements

• Ability to read tape measure
• Addition, subtraction, fractions

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for welding and fitment

• Assist boat builder in positioning, aligning and fitting fabricated parts together
