See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: POSITION SUMMARY: Welder is responsible for welding of new dollies, and support of new product integration at Boston Whaler. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions : Requires extensive knowledge in all aspects of fabrication and welding Candidate must either be certified or willing to get certified after 90-day probationary period Candidate must be able to pass the Boston Whaler weld test Requires extensive knowledge in dolly styles and identification Candidate must be fork lift certified and capable of operating large equipment throughout the campus. Requires initiative and the ability to work under minimal supervision Candidate must be able to have a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime, including weekends if needed to support production needs

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Welding Certification from accredited college
Mig and Tig experience
Use all fabrication and welding tools, power and hand tools
Basic communication skills
Basic computer, math, reading and measurement proficiency
Must be able to read drawings and specifications
Ability to follow established safety guidelines
Detailed and organized
Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness
Ability to perform other duties as required
Lift more than 50lbs
Fork lift certified and capable of operating other heavy equipment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS preferred

Responsibilities
