About The Position

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: Successfully pass weld tests to demonstrate skill and accuracy. Read and interpret blueprints and 3D models Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of parts prior to welding, based on blueprint specifications. Inspect materials and structures before welding to verify quality and readiness. Weld components according to blueprint specifications and established procedures. Monitor the welding process and make necessary adjustments to equipment for optimal results. Maintain welding equipment and machinery to ensure proper operation. Maintain accurate inventory of parts and materials within the assigned work area. Responsible for proper labeling of parts. Monitor tooling for wear or damage and report repair needs promptly Notify supervisor immediately of any tooling problems. Maintain a clean work area according to 5S standards Maintain a strong focus on safety by following all safety protocols and guidelines. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in M.I.G. welding techniques.
  • Ability to follow instructions and quickly learn new skills and processes.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
