About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Tech 4 Welder to join our Carlin Surface Maintenance team to perform mechanical repairs, installations, inspections and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Requirements

• Must have 2 years journeyman level mill/mine maintenance experience in a mining environment (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Act as a mentor and role model
• Performs all Welding Technician Tech 3 level duties proficiently
• Competent in bed/bucket repair
• Competent in wear iron replacement
• Leads the job in bed/bucket swaps
• Maintain welding certification
