About The Position

WHAT YOU'LL DO Work from engineering drawings and documented work instructions to produce components according to established specifications. Monitor production and make basic machine or tooling adjustments to support quality and requirements for the job. Interpret detailed engineering drawings and documented work instructions to fabricate components to exact specifications and tight tolerances. Perform precision welding operations (TIG, laser) on various metals including stainless steel, titanium, and specialty alloys. Assist with welding equipment setup and tooling configuration to ensure stable, repeatable results. Monitor weld quality during production and make minor adjustments to machine settings or techniques to maintain compliance with job requirements. Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers (verniers), gauges, leak-check equipment, and visual inspection methods to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy. Contribute to process consistency and continuous improvement by utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other quantitative monitoring techniques. Accurately complete labor transactions and required production documentation using company systems.
