Welder | Fabricator
About The Position
We are now hiring Welders / Fabricators for a custom fabrication shop in Ladson/Summerville, SC. Ideally seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience. Positions are paying up to $23/hr. We are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY You must be able to run a bead, cut with an oxy-acetylene torch in the field, and do other tasks. You will not always be on a lead. You will be required to assist with other mechanical installations. MUST be proficient in MIG, TIG, and STICK You will have to pass a weld test. We are looking for welders that are ready to work 40+ hours per week, multiple shutdowns coming up, and overtime will be necessary
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Must be able to run a bead
- Cut with an oxy-acetylene torch in the field

Responsibilities
- Perform all set-up of welding equipment.
- Read and follow all process documentation and operator instructions.
- Must be able to read blue prints
- Works independently
- Highly skilled in the use of GMAW and FCAW welding in all positions
- Proficient in the use of cutting torches, hand tools, grinders, basic measurement tools
- Meet all productivity and quality standards.
- Must be flexible to work overtime and any shift as required .
- Maintain clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards inside and outside of facility.
- Responsible for quality of own work.
- Read and follow all process documentation and operator instructions.
