We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing high‑quality machinery for the food processing industry and the general public. The ideal candidate has strong welding skills across multiple processes, can accurately read blueprints, works well with others, and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Travel may be required for equipment installation or repair work at customer sites.

Requirements

  • Has proficiency in multiple welding processes, including GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW
  • Reads and interprets blueprints accurately, including welding symbols
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and pride in finished work
  • Works effectively as part of a team and interacts professionally with customers
  • Maintains a strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Follows all shop safety policies and promotes a safe work environment
  • Is willing to learn, grow, and develop skills within the company
  • Can travel as needed for equipment installation or repair projects
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods; frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching
  • Dexterity and flexibility to weld inside or underneath equipment at awkward angles
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and work boots

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in Welding Technology or related field, or equivalent experience‑based proficiency
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with multiple welding processes
  • Experience reading and interpreting detailed blueprints and welding symbols
  • Knowledge of metal types, applications, and proper preparation and cleanup
  • Prior experience in fabrication or industrial equipment manufacturing is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform various welding applications using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes
  • Set up, operate, and adjust welding machines and related fabrication equipment
  • Read, understand, and accurately apply blueprints and welding symbols to fabrication and assembly work
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair machinery and components according to specifications
  • Work with a variety of metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, Alloy 20, and hardened steels
  • Clean and finish welds and materials to meet quality and appearance standards
  • Use appropriate measuring tools and apply sound mathematical skills
  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers and installation crews
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
