About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Welders/Fabricators for projects located in Grand Rapids, MI . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $20-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Operate metal working machines such as; shears, brakes, punches and drill presses Cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment Fabricating products such as; ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition frames, dust collecting piping and material handling systems Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment

Requirements

Must be able to travel when needed
MIG welding is a must
Must have basic hand tools
Must have strong math skills
Must have weld fabrication experience with sheet metal and structural welding
Must be able to pass a weld test and blueprints reading test

Nice To Haves

TIG/Stick welding experience is a plus

Responsibilities
