About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill. Real Alloy in Sapulpa opened up a unique opportunity and is looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a strong team that helps keep the plant moving. The Welder/Maintenance Technician will do heavy fabrication on industrial components such as gear boxes, electric motors, VFDs, forklifts and wheel loaders. The Welder/Maintenance Technician must have strong welding skills and be proficient in both mig and stick, and be able to set up and run an oxy/acetylene cutting torch as well as a plasma cutter. A mechanical aptitude is a must and experience working on manufacturing equipment strongly preferred. 1st Shift works 6:45am-3:15pm. On call 1 out of every 5 weeks. Starting pay is dependent on skills and experience. To service and maintain all equipment, including but not limited to, powered industrial equipment, mobile equipment, furnace combustion systems, plumbing, electrical, rotary furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, chain drives and bag house emission equipment, in a manner that ensures quality production at a minimal cost in a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to reprioritize job tasks as required
  • Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as needed
  • 3+ years’ work experience in a trade profession or industrial maintenance
  • Willingness to learn new skills through ongoing training and on the job teachings
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills
  • Willing to work at elevated heights on occasion
  • Understand and interpret prints

Nice To Haves

  • experience working on manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
