About The Position

We're a locally owned, 40+ year Colorado company specializing in custom commercial sprayer equipment for the green industry. We build one-of-a-kind solutions for landscapers, arborists, and turf professionals. If you're tired of repetitive production work and want variety, creativity, and the chance to see your craftsmanship in action, keep reading. The majority of your work will be fabricating custom spray equipment skids - some from our proven designs, others completely custom based on customer needs. You'll work with steel and aluminum to build frames for tanks, pumps, hose reels, and trailers. Every project is different. This isn't a job where someone tells you exactly how to do everything. You'll get direction on the end goal and layout from the team, then use your welding knowledge and problem-solving skills to select the right materials and techniques to make it happen. You'll fabricate custom skids both with and without engineering drawings.

Requirements

Experience welding aluminum (coursework/training acceptable for recent tech school graduates; real-world experience required for all others)
Proficiency with MIG welding; familiarity with TIG and stick welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings when provided
Strong problem-solving skills and common sense approach to challenging builds
Self-motivation and initiative - we don't micromanage, so you need to stay productive independently
Excellent attendance and reliability - we're a small team that depends on each other
Ability to communicate professionally with team members and customers
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

AWS certification
Experience with metal cutting, shearing, bending, grinding, drilling, and machining
2+ years fabrication experience (but we're open to training the right recent grad)
