About The Position

This position involves working in a custom fabrication shop, assisting with welding and fabricating various components primarily from mild steel, with occasional projects in stainless steel. The role requires working from blueprints to ensure that projects meet specified requirements. Employees will have the opportunity to obtain certifications through the AWS.

Requirements

• 1 year of welding experience or a technical degree in a relevant field required.
• 2-3+ years of MIG or FCAW welding experience preferred.
• Experience working from blueprints and engineered drawings required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with welding and fabricating various components including machinery platforms, structural stands, and enclosures.
• Work from blueprints to ensure projects are built to specifications.
• Participate in projects primarily involving mild (carbon) steel, with occasional stainless steel work.
