About The Position

The position involves performing a variety of welding processes using electric resistance, oxyacetylene, or plasma-arc torches. The welder will be responsible for welding commonly used metals and alloys of various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. The role requires selecting appropriate welding electrodes for specific welds to ensure proper penetration and fusion of base and filler metals. Additionally, the welder will fabricate or repair products according to blueprints, layouts, or work orders by welding metal components together. A working knowledge of welding materials and equipment is essential for this role.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Welding certification required.
• Three years of experience in welding.
