One Royal Culture Short Story We have a current opening for a Welder Fabricator I for our office in Sacramento, CA Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities: Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment. Fabricate custom parts, products, and equipment. Follow blueprints to meet specifications. Be well versed in welding. Use and maintain all tools and equipment within the fabrication shop. Quickly change focus to be able to assist on miscellaneous projects. Using the manufacturing tracking software update items as they flow through the shop from raw material to finished product. Communicate effectively with other departments to facilitate the timely completion of products (VC, Prefab, Procurement, Engineering).

Requirements

1+ years of welding and fabricating experience
Experience working in the construction industry is preferred.
Welding certifications are preferred.
Ability to create complete products based on blueprints.
Ability to communicate effectively and take directions.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Ability to take instruction and proactively learn from senior fabricators.
Ability to produce high quality of work.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Products and fabrication software.
Proper use of PPE
Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
Promotes safety and actively participates in safety meetings.
Speaks up when identifying an unsafe working condition or practice.
Will lift, carry, push, bend, pull, kneel, and reach.
Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.
Ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in the construction industry is preferred.
